Algot and his mother have just returned home from Rockrose Resort but early the next day Algot’s grandfather falls ill and has to go to the hospital. Algot and his mother go to grandma to help her while grandpa is sick.
In the garden, Algot finds an exciting beetle, but grandfather is not there and can help him with what kind it was, and grandmother knows nothing about beetles. The days at grandma’s house become a time of loss and worry, but also those cosy mornings with grandma in the kitchen that are the best Algot knows.
Will grandpa get well again, or will grandpa die? Can Algot wear his yellow dress when they visit Grandpa at the hospital? And what is that mysterious beetle Algot finds in the tree?
This is part two of a series about the tomboy Algot who also goes by the name Beatrice when he’s wearing his yellow dress.
