Julia Thimberg Silfwerling was born and raised in Floda outside Gothenburg. Culture, literature, and nature have always taken up a large part of her life, which has meant that she has spent much time abroad in recent years and lived occasionally in the USA, Spain, and Costa Rica. She has studied in London to become a journalist.
